I DON’T HAVE TO:
  • be perfect

   • be a victim anymore

   • be hopeless about most things

   • ‘deserve’ / earn good things

   • DO most things,  unless I choose to

   • ever take abuse from anyone

   • fix, protect, save any other adult but ME

   • force myself, when I’m not ready

   • hate or beat myself, in any way!

   • help anyone who doesn’t want it

   • help anyone I don’t want to help

   • hurt myself physically -- ever

   • justify myself

   • know everything

   • live on the edge (materially, socially)

   • live in high drama / constant crisis

   • live in constant terror

   • force myself, when I’m not ready

   • push myself beyond my limits / capacity

   • suffer - to learn or to get something

   • take care of anyone before me

   I HAVE A RIGHT TO:

   • ALL my needs & to get them met

   • ALL my emotions & to express

      them, safely

   • be a separate person, & to

      separate from my damage

   • be here, be alive

   • be exactly who I am - right now

   • be free of addictions

   • be outraged at the abuse/ neglect

      I’ve experienced

   • be physically, emotionally and 

     spiritually healthy

   • be with kind people

   • feel anger & rage, & let it out in    

      safe ways, without judgement

   • find my own niche in life (my purpose)

   • get verification of my emotions,

      perceptions & experience 

   • have a great relationship with a

      Loving Higher Power

   • have fun relax, enjoy 

   • have realistic boundaries & limits

   • take care of MY Inner Child, only

   • take in healthy love, freely given 

   • trust my own judgement
