EMOTIONS   (Es)

EMOTIONS are our very first responses to the world.

Es are the gauge by which we know what feels good & what feels bad.
Es are a vital & necessary part of our being, built into our system,
so we can interact well with our environment, other humans & HP.

Not enough Es - we’re dead inside & life becomes stale, boring.
Too much Es - & we’re overwhelmed & debilitated by their weight.
Balance is the goal. ACoAs want SAFETY even more than Love!

One way to feel safe in our skin and in the world is to know how we
feel EMOTIONALLY about things - otherwise we can’t protect
   ourselves !!
AND we can have a variety and conflicting Es about ‘people, places
& things’. The better you know your family history AND your Inner
Child, the better you’ll know how you feel about things.
JUST LISTEN to your gut - with respect, patience & good humor.
